Chand T. John is a PhD student in the Computer Science Department at Stanford University. He works under Scott L. Delp in the Neuromuscular Biomechanics Lab (NMBL) and Ron Fedkiw in the Computer Graphics Lab. His work is part of the collaborative efforts between NA-MIC and the Simbios national center for biomedical computation (NCBC) at Stanford. His work is mainly focused on Slicer's manual image editor on par with existing commercial software to increase Slicer's practicality for researchers across a variety of biomedical fields, in particular for musculoskeletal biomechanics.
