Both feature state of the art imaging quality and capability, including spectral and color Doppler, harmonics, compound imaging, extended field of view, contrast agent detection and 3D and 4D functions. All models have up to date software. A full range of transducers is available including linear, phased, curvilinear, vector, endocavity and 3D/4D probes. Transducer frequencies range from 2MHz to 15MHz, offering the widest range of resolution and penetration available. Clinical examinations are performed in two exam rooms in the AFCC. Either machine can be used portably for fetal procedures in the operating room.

		+	The Advanced Fetal Care Center (AFCC) of Children's Hospital Boston was founded in 2000 by director Russell Jennings, MD, with Luanne Nemes, RN, MS, PNP, to treat the fetus with life-threatening congenital anomalies. Since its inception, more than 2,800 pregnant women have been referred to the AFCC for diagnostic studies, counseling, treatment and care when a fetal anomaly is suspected or diagnosed.
