==Communication==

Tom Ulrich, Communications Manager shared the following material:
* What is Harvard Catalyst?- Short, medium & long versions
* acknowledging your program’s funding of an event.
* Text for grant reviewers to use on their Harvard CVs

==Better Internal Communication==
CTSC ALL listserve – comprised of emails of people on HCat committee listserves and sub-committee listserves. Not necessarily everyone paid on the grant.
All future Harvard Catalyst announcements will be broadcast to the CTSC ALL list serve in addition to other channels.
Biostats, Genetics, Imaging, & PCIR Admin directors – Seanne will work with them to get the right people’s emails included in Tom’s announcement list.
Seanne will pilot bi-monthly email updates from Harvard Catalyst Central to the Deputies – essentially updated PowerPoint deck w/details of what’s going on at HCat Central & dates to look out for. Next update email: Thursday, June 11. Next Deputies Meeting: Thursday, June 25.

Better External Communication
Consulting Services to meet and talk about marketing – including brochure/slip
Education group has requested foam board posters w/easels (TOM to follow up)
There is no master list of meetings – but the Research Navigators are willing to serve as your programs’ ambassadors when they speak to a wide variety of junior investigator groups.
Tom will be sending 3 PPT templates (general branded template, co-brandable template for co-sponsored presentations, and standard background slides) separately. FYI, the templates are all available for download on the internal site under CTSC Central. Poster template, newest version, available soon.

Budgets for year 2-
Goal – mid June to finalize. $39.5MM budget – flat funded.
Per M Beck’s suggestion – a)a list of items cut from this years budget will be kept to consider for Year 3. b)a post mortem on the budgeting process will be conducted to streamline it for next year.

Education & Courses
WebEx licenses – after HMS has made a decision on which vendor will be chosen – so that all programs have access to HCat licenses.
Any other suggestions I receive.

Tom & Carol – connect to make sure Tom is contacting all appropriate diversity offices
ALL – please send your announcements/items to broadcast to the group. Next month, I’ll make the request a few days before the meeting so that I can include it all with the minutes/follow ups.
