* There have been recent threads dealing with (i) establishing an NCBC community site to represent results, information, etc., to the biomedical community, and (ii) establishing an NCBC iTools site which is the product of the efforts of the Tools and Applications working group. The email thread has involved a number of individuals from various of the 7 centers. Today we had an ad hoc phone call among Ivo Dinov (UCLA), Karen Skinner (NIH), Jim Cavalcoli (UMich), and Peter Lyster (NIH). Pending later discussions, we decided to put a hold on the site http://www.ncbcs.org/ and set up a prototype web site there. Later disucsions among the NCBC leads and NIH staff will be needed to establish the final format for this site.
