New page

Attendees: Randy Gollub, Ron Kikinis, Tina Kapur, Steve Pieper, Sonia Pujol.

'''Core 5 and Core 6 joint efforts on key delivery to Core 3: Training sessions on Slicer3D'''

* Goals: 1) to get Core 3 end users up-and-running with Slicer, 2) to identify specific requests on Slicer from Core 3 resulting from the training sessions.

* Training-Dissemination Workshop - Darmouth, May 26-27:
** Day 1: Slicer tutorial/fMRI Statistical Analysis Training (all day),
** Day 2: Slicer training sessions with end users'data (morning),workgroup/discussion (afternoon).
** Sessions will be given jointly by Core 5,6 teams (Steve, Tina, Sonia).
** End users will download Slicer3D on their laptop, some workstations will be available.
** The NAMIC Wiki will be a vector of feedback. Specific tools like SurveyMonkey (http://www.surveymonkey.com/) used in BIRN will be considered.
** Core 5,6 will point to members of Core 1,2 teams for technical requests expressed by Core 3 during the workshop.
* The Wiki has been proposed as the basis for construction of training/dissemination materials on Slicer, as a result of the advantages offered by CVS on the Wiki vs Slicer website.
* A Training-Dissemination Workshop will be organized in June/July at MGH Martinos Center, Boston. A list of potential attendees and specific requests will be defined. Improvements resulting from previous workshops will be included.
