<p><b>New page</b></p><div>María Dolores Afonso Suárez received her Computer Science Degree and her Ph.D. from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) and the University Institute of Intelligent Systems and Numeric Applications in Engineering (SIANI) of the ULPGC, respectively. She has been working as a software engineer in private companies and as a professor at the ULPGC, in the Software Engineering Department. She is currently also assigned as a licensed fellow researcher to the University Institute of Biomedical and Health Research (IUIBS) of the ULPGC, working as a software engineer in the MACbioIDi project. Her work and research interests include the engineering of software for medical image computing and web applications.</div>Marianna
