Preparation for the use of 4D Ultrasound

Update the Calibration file

The following section must be adjusted according to your setup:

Image Settings

  • Image Margins

Tracked Ultrasound Calibration

  • Offset tracker sensor - ultrasound transducer
    You have to measure this offset manual. The axis are aligned like in the image shown below.

  • Tracker Sensor to Ultrasound Transducer Calibration
  • Orientation of the sensor at calibration time

System settings

  • Video Device Name
  • Video Channel - You have to find out the correct channel of your capture board. You may use for example VLC or xawtv.

Ultrasound Settings

  • Ultrasound scan depth - This properties depends on the settings made at your ultrasound machine
  • Ultrasound scan fan height - The tutorial can be found here here
