It is also responsible for a significant amount of the morbidity and mortality associated with asthma. The purpose of this study to establish a collaborative program to investigate the mechanistic basis for severe asthma and how it differs from mild-to-moderate asthma.

Technical specifics

  1. Compare the results of different scanner brands and kernels quantitatively
  2. Investigate homoegeneity (w/ respect to objective 1)
  3. Investigage MTF (w/ respect to objective 1)
  4. Investigate airway size and wall thickness algorithms (w/ respect to objective 1)
