Key Investigators

  • UNC: Heather Cody Hazlett, Martin Styner, Clement Vachet
  • GE: Jim Miller

Objective

We would like to create an end-to-end application within Slicer3 allowing individual and group analysis of regional and local cortical thickness. Such a workflow applied to the young brain (2-4 years old) is our goal in order to start a longitudinal study of early brain development in autism See our Roadmap for more details.

Approach, Plan

Our approach during this week is to be able to use several Slicer3 modules, in order to process our data. We would like to apply EMSegment to our data and compare it whith a segmentation tool developped in our lab. We would like to be able to use the B-spline registration module to be able to use it for our data (atlas to data registration, applying the related transformation to ROIs)
