Objective

To implement Mert Sabuncu's groupwise image registration algorithm (MICCAI 2009) as a commandline module in Slicer. The current implementation is in Matlab and C++.

Approach, Plan

I would like to take advantage of the expertise of NA-MIC Project Week attendees who are familiar with the ITK implementations of diffeomorphic registrations, and to ask questions about Slicer module integration.

Progress

Met with people here and discussed different ideas for my project. Met with Luis and went over the details of the registration framework in ITK, and we plan on going over the code to find where an ITK error that's occuring may be coming from in the modified registration filter.

Delivery Mechanism

This work will be delivered to the NA-MIC Kit as a Slicer commandline module.
