* When one sees TB 3, images are already in the mi2b2 cache. TAB 3: it has a destination field for the images which can be customized (by default it is the workbench). There is also an encrypt option (will be checked by default). After clicking submit, TAB 4 appears where people can view the images (basic imageJ viewer). If people don't want to use the mi2b2 viewer, they will need to be able to decrypt the images. If people used TAB 4 this is where the decryption process will take place. In TAB 4 there will be a directory tree function.

mi2b2 software update

  • Finishing multiPACSsystem. End of week everything should be working.
  • MGH baby brain project: about 1000 images have been downloaded. Download tool should be ready for Vincent to use by himself so it does not take too much of Bill's time.
  • BWH still waiting for a quote for HP machine.
  • Structured report: used in functional MR, US, mammography. We are still not able to get them and don't know exactly what is in them, It could be DICOM file minus the actual image. We still need to figure out what is in these reports but that does not stop the process.

TAB 3 and TAB 4 functionalities

  • When one sees TB 3, images are already in the mi2b2 cache.
