Harvard Translational Imaging Consortium Meeting Minutes December 15, 2009

1. Consultations

  • Bob is working on a new consultation with Dr Nicolas Bolo, from MacLean. Valerie will create an new issue in JIRA.
  • Gordon Williams was contacted by Dr Paul Carusso (sleep apnea in children), he asked him to fill the webform to request a consultation.
  • Randy gave an overview of what is our role when we are asked to do a PCIR review that contains an imaging component. It is a resources allocation review at the specific institution where the PI applied for use of the PCIR. To be able to submit a request to PCIR, an IRB review is required. For NIH funded projects, no scientific review is needed.


2. Budget Y3

  • Randy, Bruce and Gordon Williams will work on the final budget for Y3. All the members sent their budget justification.
  • Some budget should be allocate to travel and for equipment.


3. Evaluation form

  • Valerie is finishing to fill the evaluation form that is due on Monday December 21. Jeff and Annick will send their consultations for this year so they can be added.


4. Annual progress report

  • The 3 pages narrative for the NIH (annual progress report) is due on December 21. Valerie and Randy are working on it and will submit a draft version to Gordon Williams by Friday December 18.
  • Valerie will create a section on the wiki with a detailed progress report. A link to that section will be mention in the short version we have to submit to Harvard Catalyst.


5. Education

  • The agenda for January 5, 2010 will be the finalization of the calendar for our education program. Valerie and Jeff will work on it.
