Many of the capabilities of Corview are available within Slicer4. There are a few gaps in Slicer4 that will be addressed. Corview users have already been trained on certain mouse modes and toolbar interactions. We need to make sure equivalent access to these tools is available in Slicer4.

  • Corview Qt widget to interact with histograms. Package for Slicer4? Or use current Slicer4 widgets?
  • Scalar field visualization on models
  • Label field visualization on models
  • Interactive painting of labels on models. Linked with painting on 2D cross sections.
  • Cutting of models. Use current reformat widget and Slicer4 cut plane capability.
  • Reformat and cut visualization.
  • Layouts: (1) axial + 3D, (2) axial + dual 3D
