Introduction

A one-day Slicer tutorial will be held at Johns Hopkins University on April 5, 2011. The primary objective of this event is to introduce users to the Slicer environment, with a particular focus on 3D modelling and Diffusion Tensor Imaging

  • 9:00-9:15 am Welcome and presentation of day activities
  • 9:15-9:45 am Introduction to Slicer and the Slicer community
  • 9:45-10:00 am Break and computer setup
  • 10:00-11:00 am Hands-on session 1: Data Loading and 3D Visualization
  • 11:00-11:15 am Coffee break
  • 11:15-12:30 pm Hands-on session 2: Interactive Editing
  • 12:30-1:30 pm Lunch
  • 1:30-2:45 pm Hands-on session 3: Diffusion Tensor Image Analysis
  • 3:00-3:15 pm Coffee Break
  • 3:15-4:30 pm Hands-on session 4: TBA
  • 4:30-5:00 pm Questions from the audience and concluding remarks
