December

Assessment of Reliability of Multi-site Neuroimaging Via Traveling Phantom Study. 3D display of binarized probabilistic template. Segmentation of subcortical structures averaged over scanner type A and both phantoms. Read more...

October

Cortical correspondence using entropy-based particle systems and local features. The sulcal depth pictured as a color map on the white matter surface and its inflation surface. The green and red regions correspond to highly negative and highly positive values of sulcal depth, respectively. Read more...

September

Geometric observers for dynamically evolving curvesThe topology and geometry of curve comparison. a:Solution domain decomposition. b: Distance from estimate to measurement. c: Distance from measurement to estimate. Read more...

June

Distribution Metrics and Image Segmentation. Left: Initialization of information based active contour on CT bone image. Right: Active contour captures bone. Read more ...

April

Diffusion tensor analysis with invariant gradients and rotation tangents. Guided by empirically established connections between clinically important tissue properties and diffusion tensor parameters, we introduce a framework for decomposing variations in diffusion tensors into changes in shape and orientation. Read more ...

March

Global Medical Shape Analysis Using the Laplace-Beltrami Spectrum. In this paper we develop a new algorithm to analyze shape changes globally, going beyond volume changes, based on the Laplace-Beltrami surface spectrum. While it does not afford local analysis, the method allows for shape comparisons with minimal preprocessing. In particular, no prior shape alignment is required. Read more ...
