Agenda:

  1. Review previous minutes and action items (10 min) - Kolasny

Action Items Summary:

    1. Identify people associated with BIRN-DUP project. (Pieper) done - see Mbirn:BIRNDUP
    2. See if Alex Joyner is still involved with Query Atlas development (Pieper) done - Alex is back 1/2 time at Greg's lab and is working on Query Atlas
    3. Include BIRN hippocampus data as an adendum for the Slicer Tutorial (Pieper,Aucoin)
    4. Contact Vicky Rowley <vrowley@ucsd.edu> about adding MIT software to BIRN/Rocks distribution. (Golland)
    5. Test interoperablility between MIT software and Freesurfer on BIRN/Rocks distribution. (Golland)

2005.01.17 - I just talked to Bruce Fischl, and we came up with a plan that will get my code integrated and let us use it on imaging data. Basically, the idea is for the MGH and the BWH engineers to come up with a simple interface the allows selection of subjects and transforms the data into the format I can read. We expect to have something running in the spring and to start generating results. I am enthused about it, because this local arrangement makes it easier to do the integration. Maybe then as a second stage, we will see how to integrate it with the HID interface. Hope this makes sense. I know Bruce discussed ti with Bruce Rosen and with Ron Kikinis, and they both supported it.

    6. Contact Christine Fennema <fennema@ucsd.edu> regarding clinical questions for Machine learning(Golland)

2005.02.02 Integration with mBIRN HID post-poned until Polina and Bruce local work is further along.

    7. Make use of the Wiki for AVI dissemination (Kolasny)
    8. Provide 2005 Human Brain mapping abstract information to the group. (Kolasny)
