Objective:
To make new filters more accessible to the medical imaging community. These filters include geometric nonlinear smoothing filters for enhancement and a modified Bayesian classifier for segmentation.
Progress:
- Various anisotropic enhancement and Bayesian filters have been incorporated into ITK.
- A paper was published in the (Open Access) Insight Journal
Key Investigators:
- Georgia Tech: John Melonakos, Allen Tannenbaum
- Kitware: Karthik Krishnan, Luis Ibanez
