Project Description

Objective Approach and Plan Progress and Next Steps

The goal of this project is to create a new tool for SlicerCIP that allows to identify bronchiectatic airways on chest CT images in a manual or semi-automatic basis with the help of a customized Slicer Editor module. The tool should allow to compute different measures of the specified airway (area, std dev, mean, etc.) and save them into an xml file along with airway location.

  • Implement a customized Slicer editor module
  • Implement a tool to compute a set of measures on the identified airway (area, mean, std. dev., etc.)
