Proposed Schedule

Weeks 1-2: Discuss XNAT capabilities, site needs & current practices, and site data types and workflows; install prerequisite software on site.

Weeks 3-6: Model data in XML; generate sample database & webapp at WU;

Weeks 7: Install XNAT instantiation on site.

Weeks 8-10: Prepare wrappers for existing workflows; develop data conversion scripts

Weeks 11-12: Develop custom reports and data entry forms Ongoing Customize application

February 7, 2005: Teleconference to initiate project


Notes: 5/31/05 Now that the basic XNAT scheme is operational at PGP and BIRN, there are at least 5 broad topics that still need to be addressed:

1: Continued Schema Evolution
2: Loading Data (images, raw and derived; subject info)
3: Local modifications to the 'Look and Feel' (search and display/report)
4: Viewers down into the data (ImageJ, etc.)
5: Initiation of further analysis and processing (How to assist the process spawning procedure)
