Core 3.1 Breakout Session

Overview

  • Guidance Engineering Core 2:
    • Data sharing, data format (image data, segmented data, DTI, etc.)
    • Preliminary specifications: collaborative effort
  • Core clinical datasets (Harvard, Dartmouth)
  • Testbed datasets (Dartmouth)
    • Few cases raw data and segmentations

Shape Segmentation/Analysis

  • Shape-driven segmentation: temporal lobe MTG, ITG, STG, insular cortex, temporal pole
    • Data: BWH, Dartmouth
    • Analysis: MIT
  • Shape analysis of hippocampus/ amygdala and caudate, anatomic substructures
    • Data BWH
    • Analysis: UNC, SPL
    • Substructure analysis with DTI: MGH

DTI Processing/Analysis

  • Nonlinear registration of DTI, structural data, fMRI (MGH)
  • Probabilistic DTI tensor data atlas whole brain (MGH)
  • Tractography to identify internal capsule, uncinate fasciculus, cingulum, fornix (UNC, SPL), fiber analysis (UNC)
  • DTI datasets from Harvard

fMRI

  • Sample datasets with preprocessing (Dartmouth)
  • Display and further processing: fMRI + sMRI + DTI: Slicer SPL

    • all aforementioned structures
