Project Description
Objective
- Focused Ultrasound is used for the disruption of the blood brain barrier. As the tumor interstitial pressure is high, it is important to quantify the pressure during sonication.
Approach, Plan
- Brainstorm design for a pressure sensor that allows such measurements in small animals (rats).
Progress
- We did a lot of internet research, we found a pressure transducer with the right accuracy, we ordered it, we started to program it and we had very interesting discussions with other people which helped us to move forward.
