- The request was directly forwarded by Valerie to several members of the imaging consortium who have the appropriate expertise .
- The details of the request were discussed by the group at the t-con.
- Two days later, Valerie sent a answer to the request including references and person to contact.
- Valerie will assure the follow-up of this consultation.
2. IRAT/CTSA Joint Workshop March 29-31,2009 in Baltimore
- The CTSA has not come yet with a final agenda.
- We must try to push to be on the agenda if we want to have a slides presentation.
- Our role during this meeting will be to show our know how and what we have accomplished so far.
- The list of participant includes: Annick, Jeff, Randy, Bill, Gordon, Bob, Stephan and Valerie. Karl Helmer will probably go to talk about cross-site acquisition.
- For reimbursement for travel expenses, funds have been transfered to the different institutions. Members should submit a travel expense report to the catalyst fund manager at their institution.
3. Slides for CTSC imaging consortium presentation
- Two sets of slides have been sent for the members to review. One is for the Radiology Department Heads meetings and is called: Development of Harvard Catalyst Imaging Consultation Service. The second one is for the smaller meetings and is called Harvard Catalyst Imaging Consultation Service.
- Members are invited to look at the slides and send Valerie their feedback.
- Clare and Ron are presenting the Imaging Consultation Service at the Radiology Faculty Staff meeting on Friday 02/27 from 12:15pm to 1:15p at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
- Valerie and Randy will join them for the presentation.
- The Partners Radiology research day (March 28th) provides a good opportunity to present the Consortium and the Imaging Consultation service.
- Annick and Gordon will be responsible for sharing information about our consultation service.
4. Stimulus package
- The stimulus package includes substantial investments in biomedical research with express focus on health information which is exactly what our PACS-i2b2-XNAT integration project is targeting.
- Annick sent a copy of the text of the house bill to all members so they can review how we can intensify our efforts in harmony with the stimulus package to accelerate multi-sites medical data acquisition, analysis and transfer.
- The consortium will decide on a day for a face to face meeting to discuss a plan of action.
5. XNAT engineer position
- Several new applications were sent and posted on the Xythos website.
- Bill will conduct a series of phone interviews. If the applicants have the right background, they will be invited for a formal round of interviews.
