Project Description

Objective

  • We are working on registering CT images for head and neck non-rigidly with minimal input from the user. This is currently done with a sequential procedure by registering point sets obtained from rough segmentations.

Approach, Plan

  • We will work on reducing the number of user set parameters in our existing approach.
  • We will determine what pieces from the pipeline are present in Slicer and what can be added as a module.

Progress

  • Examined point set based image registration
  • Created a plan for adding point set registration to within Plastimatch (integrated into Slicer)
