Introduction to Grant Writing 101 Class. When: Friday, August 8th, 2-4.30pm. Where: Dana 1635. This class introduces the essentials of grant preparation and revision, from developing a research idea to revising and resubmitting a proposal. The class primarily covers R01 applications for the NIH, but many of the principles apply equally to proposals for other funding agencies. Emphasis is placed on conveying scientific content clearly and succinctly through logical organization and effective presentation of the proposed research. Registration is required.

Nancy Berliner, MD, and moderators Carol Nadelson, MD and Jean Emans, MD will consider the current situation and the future for women in science and medicine.
