My lab research has generated a hypothesis regarding the trigger for human adrenarche (adrenal androgen production). The hypothesis is that the adrenal cortex grows at a slower rate than the body, which leads to a rise in intra-adrenal cortisol production. I would like to discuss imaging options for measuring adrenal glands in growing children.
