Harvard Translational Imaging Consortium Meeting Minutes February 17, 2009

In attendance:

1. Consultation request submitted through the Catalyst website

  • A request for consultation was submitted through the Catalyst website.
    • The request was directly forwarded to several members of the imaging consortium.
    • Two days later, Valerie sent a answer to the request including references and person to contact.
    • Valerie will assure the follow-up of this consultation.


2. IRAT/CTSA Joint Workshop March 29-31,2009 in Baltimore

  • The CTSA has not come yet with a final agenda.
    • We must try to push to be on the agenda if we want to have a slides presentation.
    • Our role during this meeting will be to show our know how and what we have accomplished so far.
  • The list of participant includes: Annick, Jeff, Randy, Bill, Gordon, Bob, Stephan and Valerie. Karl Elmer will probably go to talk about cross-site acquisition.
  • For reimbursement for travel expenses, funds have been transfered to the different institutions.


3. Slides for CTSC imaging consortium presentation

  • Two sets of slides have been sent for the members to review. One is for the Radiology Department Heads meetings and is called: Development of Harvard Catalyst Imaging Consultation Service. The second one is for the smaller meetings and is called Harvard Catalyst Imaging Consultation Service.
    • Members are invited to look at the slides and send Valerie their feedback.
  • Clare and Ron are presenting the Imaging Consultation Service at the Radiology Faculty Staff meeting on Friday 02/27 from 12:15pm to 1:15p at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
    • Valerie and Randy will join them for the presentation.
  • The Partners Radiology research day (March 28th) provides a good opportunity to present the Consortium and the Imaging Consultation service.
