Harvard Translational Imaging Consortium Meeting Minutes March 2, 2010

1. Consultations

  • We received 2 new requests for consultation following the Slicer hands-on workshop (2/24), Ron and Wendy are working on it.


2. Education program

  • Application for CME credit was sent on Friday February 26. Approval is pending, we will be notified around March 25 if our series on Advances Medical Imaging Applications gets approved for CME credit.
  • Jeff sent a series of slides with the Harvard Catalyst resources The 6 first slides are generic and the others can be customized for each discipline.
  • Jeff has almost finished the slides for the biomarkers talk.
  • We have to make sure that all the speakers agree to post their material online, as pdf. They will have the opportunity to remove material if they desire before posting the final version.
  • It is important that everybody who contributed to the slides gets credit.
  • Valerie will asked a quote for a coffee break at BWH and MGH.
  • Cheryl Sadow agreed to give a talk during the oncology session.
  • We are waiting to hear from Stephan Voss about his availability for the oncology talks.
  • Andrew Kung has offered to give a talk on preclinical imaging in oncology.


3. Harvard Catalyst website update

  • The Harvard Catalyst IT team is working on a significant update of the website. Randy talked to them about integrating our wiki page and they agreed. We will be able to integrate our imaging courses as well as the resources about the core facilities.
  • Several members complained that their profile was not accurate, especially when it comes to keywords. Bob will contact Griffin Webber to address the problem.
