Harvard Translational Imaging Consortium Meeting Minutes April 27, 2010

1. Consultations

  • Couple of new projects have been created in JIRA (Randy, Ron). Valerie will check all the open issues and close the ones that are finished.


2. Integrated consultation program for the Scholars in Clinical Science Program

  • The Scholars in Clinical Science Program (SCSP) is a two-year post-graduate training program in clinical investigation. The SCSP consists of formal didactic coursework, a longitudinal seminar series, and a mentored clinical research project. Trainees who successfully complete the program are awarded a Master of Medical Sciences degree from Harvard Medical School (http://catalyst.harvard.edu/services/scholarsinclinicalsciencetp.html). The program manager contacted the consortium because 2 Scholars need assistance with imaging.


3. Proposed mid-year evaluation report indicators

  • Valerie submitted the list of proposed mid-year evaluation report indicators:

a. Consultation:Total # consultations, Proportion of consultation by institution
b.Education: Total # courses, Attendance by course
c. ARRA Supplement: 3 bullets on major milestones
d. National-Level Imaging Activity: # courses given at national meetings, Participation in National CTSA Imaging working groups
e. Physiological Monitoring System :# deployed (list sites), # activated (list sites), # users at the Martino Center (the up-and-running site)

  • Everybody agreed with the list, in the metrics about national-level activity, there will also be a couple of bullets points to do a narrative.
