* Last week Valerie met with the Education Unit at MGH to discuss the development of imaging basics courses for research nurses and research coordinators. Attendees really liked the idea of offering an expanded (1.5 hour) version of the Risks and Benefits of Imaging course developed by Jeff, followed by a series of 1.5 hour modality-based courses on how to describe imaging procedures to study participants. We also discussed providing information about Radiation Safety Course requirements at these offerings. We talked about running these courses in early 2011 (January?) and that we would offer these courses both here and at LMA.
