The Morphometry BIRN and NAMIC submitted proposal for the CTSC Imaging Consortium and Informatics Core for a data management system was discussed by the group.  Bill Hanlon likes this organizational approach for being able to solve immediate problems.  He will edit in specific use cases to document and circulate.  Bruce Rosen sat in on last RSNA-CTSA Neuroinformatics call.  Thinks there is a need for someone with greater expertise than him to represent our Harvard efforts.  There is already a launched effort led by the caBIG, ACRIN, and some already funded CTSA sites such as Duke and Wash U. Gather

Sophisticated and appropriate approach.

+++Group reviewed MGH site resources as template for how to format all sites.  Approved the concept.  Randy will polish the MGH site resources to be in harmony with other CTSC needs with the help of the Navigators on Friday July 25th.  The navigators will then contact each site's representative to make a meeting to get all site's resources loaded in the same format.  This will be done for image acquisition, analysis visualization and data management resources as well as educational/training resources (new column added).  Agreed to include animal imaging resources but clearly separated so that when the material is migrated to CONNECTS we initially copy only the human but have the animal stuff ready to go when they are requested (as they likely will be).

Feedback from the Navigators is that our proposed ideas for what data to compile was more sophisticated and detailed than is needed for the immediate roll out of the Catalyst website.  They have come back to us with a simplified spreadsheet of fields of information that they believe is the appropriate approach for their initial cataloging effort.  Ann and Zeke will work with each of our site representatives to ensure that this data is captured.  Please give them your help when it is requested.  We agreed to continue in our efforts to collate our imaging resources using the wiki to help us guide our plans for the consult service and other offerings we may chose to deliver.

1. RSNA sponsored CTSC connection

Annick is nominated to represent our Consortium at the ACRIN meeting in October. This needs to be confirmed upon her return. Bill agreed to represent us on Neuroinformatics subgroup calls and Randy agreed to represent us for Education subgroup calls.

2. Education Program
Jim Ware (head of CTSC Biostatistics), David Golan (head of CTSC Education), Mark Vangel, Randy Gollub meeting Tuesday August 5th to discuss the logistics and "big picture" of how our group will work with their programs. Several ideas were presented for who else in our imaging community might be available to teach relevant material. Elk Halpern was mentioned as was Clare Constantine Gatsonis (ACRIN biostatstican who works at Brown but lives in Boston and occaisionally visits BWH). Also wondered about an imaging track within the CTSC sponsored K-level training grants.

3. Curation of Site Resources
