1. In directory igt-tutorial, download IGSTK source code by running these commands:

cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@public.kitware.com:/cvsroot/IGSTK login

2. Build IGSTK

  • In directory igt-tutorial, create a new directory IGSTK-build.
  • Cd IGSTK-build, configure the project
ccmake ../IGSTK

3. Build IGSTKSandbox

  • In directory igt-tutorial, create a new directory IGSTKSandbox-build.
  • Cd IGSTKSandbox-build, configure the project
ccmake ../IGSTKSandbox


You need to set Slicer3_DIR as the build directory of Slicer3, i.e. Slicer3-buld. Also, make sure you have version 2.6 of CMake installed. If you don't, you can find in Slicer3-lib/CMake-build/bin. After configuration, run

make 

To build OpenIGTLink. Upon completion, you should find libOpenIGTLink.so here at igt-tutorial/OpenIGTLink-build/lib/Slicer3/Modules.
