mi2b2 software update

  • The mi2b2 software version 1.2 that allows one or more XNAT instances and/or DICOM receivers such as OSIRIX-MD to be specified per project is still being tested. Code for the UI was revised to allow the client to remember the "libraries" or directories where the user was working when they quit from the previous session. This allows each work session to be more time efficient for the user. Also improved the persistence of the users image view from session to session. Attempt is to enhance the fluidity of the experience. This logging feature can be disabled. This is the endpoint of new development for mi2b2 software until new specific funding is obtained.
  • With the remaining funding we will be enhancing integration with i2b2 to improve performance when used in that mode.
  • Chris checked out the Clinical Trial Processor (CTP). CTP is a Java based software tool developed by the CaBIG community comprised of a DICOM listener that can be configured to anonymize/de-identify files and a DICOM server to store the images. Appeared to be a good tool that might help mi2b2 users.
