Meeting Minutes

Progress to date Shawn began by reviewing the project overview including the component software tools such as i2b2 and XNAT. Bruce Rosen suggested thinking through what preliminary data we would need to succeed in garnering future grants to continue to advance the project when the ARRA funding ends. Exploring sources for submitting grants (e.g. NCRR, NIBIB and broader NIH initiatives such as supplements to NA-MIC and/or i2b2). Bruce suggests getting face time with NCRR program officers responsible for CTSCs and BIRN to build awareness of this project.
Review of image transfer policy in testing phase (unrelated to studies) The group approved of the decision to allow the transfer of test images from their PACS in the context of developing the software.
Data terms of use At the suggestion of Ramin, we will review with each individual site the current i2b2 IRB approval data sharing language for their site. Since no cross site sharing is required for this project, that should be sufficient. In future meetings we will re-visit this issue if any site has questions or suggestions for further consideration.
