The clinical Ultrasound Division at Children's Hospital Boston and its two satellite centers in Waltham and Lexington, MA have:

  • 10 Acuson Sequoia 512
  • 3 Philips IU22
  • 1 GE voluson

All feature state of the art imaging quality and capabilities, including spectral and color Doppler, harmonics, compound imaging, extended field of view, and contrast agent detection. The Philip IU22 machines offer 3D and 4D functions. All models have up to date software. A full range of transducers are available including linear, phased, curvilinear, vector, endocavity and 3D/4D. Transducer frequencies range from 2MHz to 15MHz, offering the widest range of resolution and penetration available. Clinical examinations are performed in six exam rooms in Boston, two in Waltham and two in Lexington. Portable exams are also performed as dictated by patient condition.
