  • Use Duke's retrospective T2/PD lesion data in combination with diffusion-atlas to evaluate correlations between specific white-matter tracts and lesions (JM, SP, JF)

Diffusion Morphometry Projects

  • Extension to brain PET & CT: define working group & tentative goals (BR, AD)
    • In agreement with our original Morph BIRN grant proposal, it was reminded that we start reviewing how to extend our expertise and application tools to other imaging modalities and/or organs.
    • In particular, Anders noted that the ADNI is acquiring PET data but that they don't have funds allocated for working on issues like co-registration with MRI or CT scans. A collaboration with BIRN would be potentially useful on this front and it would allow us to show preliminary data for our May 2007 Morph BIRN review. The goal for Oct 2005 is to better define a working group for this and define the preliminary data that we would like to target for the May 2007 renewal.
