Naming convention on the UCI data:

Each subject has been given a 10-digit unique BIRN_ID number, e.g.

/[path]/UCI07110773

Inside a subject’s directory are the following directories

Visit_UCI_[number]--these should all be baseline scans but the directory is set up for more visits should that data be shared.

Inside the Visit directory are:

PET1 (baseline PET scans)

fMRI

freesurfer_files (only surface files for now)

fMRI:

(see documentation http://www.na-mic.org/Wiki/index.php/UCIfMRIscans for details of the tasks and the processing/analysis methods)

Cpt1—the first run of the CPT task

Cpt2—the 2nd run of the CPT task

Cptall—the analysis of the two above runs together

Sm—the sensorimotor task

Wm1—the first run of the working memory task

Wm2—the 2nd run

Wm3—the 3rd run

Wmall—the analysis of the three above runs together

And the following images: Sag-RF-FAST-VOL-Flip40.SER.defaced.[hdr,img, mat] : These are the T1-weighted images for that subject. When the .mat file is included they should be in the same orientation as the fMRI data. They have not been normalized to any standard space.

In each of the cpt[1,2], wm[1-3], sm directories are the reconstructed images for each run. They are in SPM2 format with the hdr and img files (.mat files were created at the time of realignment). The first two images of the run are not included.

In the cptall and wmall directories are the SPM2 analysis files for the relevant tasks, including the various contrasts, betamaps, error images, etc. These are specific to SPM2 and the analysis methods. What the specific contrasts were measuring is included in the task description (http://www.na-mic.org/Wiki/index.php/UCIfMRIscans ).
