Harvard Translational Imaging Consortium Meeting Minutes May 12, 2009

1. Update on imaging consultation requests

  • Valerie and Randy gave an update on the ongoing consultation requests. All the investigators have been contacted by at least one imaging expert and the collaborative work is in process.


2. Educational program

  • Valerie will organize a mini-retreat in June so the group can discuss the educational program and the evaluation plan.
  • In the mean time, Valerie and Jeff will meet with Michelle Wright from Catalyst Central to discuss the implementation of the program.

5. ACRIN meeting

  • The CTSA Imaging Working Group is planning on holding an educational session and a working lunch on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 in conjunction with the

ACRIN meeting (September 30-October 2, 2009) at the Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City in Arlington, VA. Meetings of the CTSA Imaging Informatics and Cores/Education subgroups are also being considered for the same day.

  • The group will decide who should attend the meeting, especially with the informatics and Education subgroups.



6. JIRA update

  • Valerie gave an update on the development of the JIRA system as a web-based tool to track consultations. The minutes of the meetings are posted on this wiki page.
  • The JIRA system for the imaging group should be launch around July 30. Prior to the live launch, there will be training sessions for the triage person and the consultants.
