2014-01-23

Attendees: Jim, Nicole, Steve

Agenda:

  • Color LUTs and window/level interaction from this thread
  • Data only inside a scene view when saved to MRB - Marianna found a broken case (/spl/tmp/marianna/label-adjusted/nac-hncma-atlas-2014-Slicer4Version.mrml)

Notes:

  • Colors
    • may need a better fMRI specific color node (current one only has 43 colors, no alpha changes)
    • the Qt widget may be interfering with the mapping for floating point values when the window is very small (ex: window 1.0, level 0.0)
    • try clamping the data via the python console
    • Adding in support for user defined continuous color transfer functions in color nodes will be useful, Nicole will try to work on it between now and end of June if it doesn't conflict with higher priority work
  • Scene views and MRBs
    • recent chagnes make sure that data only in scene views get saved to disk, but deleting the MRB immediately means that the scene view restore can't find the data on disk, try delaying delete until scene close as a quick fix
    • Bug 2816 reopened
    • updated Scene Views manual page with a warning
