Harvard Translational Imaging Consortium Meeting Minutes July 7, 2010

1. Consultations
- still need a consultant with FSL routines expertise.
2. Education program
- Imaging in oncology: the MGH session has been rescheduled to Monday November 1st (2-5 pm), Simches 3.120.
- Valerie will schedule a practice talks before RSNA for the lifecycle of an imaging biomarker talk. She will look for a room on the Quad during the 2nd or 3rd week of November. Since Neil is leaving BIDMC for another institution, he will be replaced by Bob who agreed to give a talk.
- Copyright: in order to protect our educational material, Sabune (Harvard Catalyst Regulatory) suggested the following:
- make the announcement before every speech, presentation, meeting – “Photography, audio/video recording of this event is strictly prohibited
- copyrighting slide decks – the decks will be able to be used by academics (under the Fair Use, Section 107 in Copyright Law), but if the academics are worried about violating copyright, they can ask permission from us – and we can grant it. Businesses/forprofit entities would not be able to use the slides /information without permission.
